Lets Play/Review: Hotline Miami (PC)
I haven’t done a ‘lets play’ video in quite a while let alone a game review, but I was browsing steam the other day and came across this new game called Hotline Miami. I had seen and heard good things about the game, and given last weekend was 50% off I thought why not.
The game is amazing and soundtrack is epic 80’s. Definitely recommend this to anyone out there that doesn’t mind a bit of blood and violence with some great story and music.
Counter-Strike Global Offensive: Funny In Game Chatter
I was playing a round of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive last night and found myself in a lobby discussing tree planting, eggs and many other things totally unrelated to the game itself!
MW3: TDM on Bakara – No More Bouncing Betty’s!
Back with another call of duty modern warfare 3 gameplay w/ commentary. For a change here’s a team deathmatch on the map Bakara. Finished 27-7 on this map, pretty good but still room for improvement.
MW3: Demolition on Interchange Commentary
Still using the Type 95 assault rifle, getting better with it. I don’t top the team leaderboard in this game but do manage to get the best team K/D ratio which was nice. Also had a few nice kills, we ended up winning this match also.
MW3 Gameplay: Still Learning The Type 95 + What Desktop Mic Do I Use?
Still learning the Type 95 assault rifle on a kill confirmed match on the Fallen map. I also talk about the desktop microphone I use for my recordings. I use the BlueMic Yeti USB desktop microphone http://www.bluemic.com/yeti/
It’s an amazing mic and as it’s USB it’s fully digital audio you record to rather than converting analog to digital and needing extra hardware. You also don’t get any static or interference with a digital mic which is another plus. I actually talked about the mic when I first got it back in April if you’re interested in a great quality desktop microphone for all purpose recording.
MW3 Kill Confirmed on Carbon Gameplay – Learning the Type 95
I’m not a good call of duty player, but I just like making videos and posting them on the internet for fun. More of a learning tool for me to record and post my games and see where I go wrong and what I can improve on. I don’t post games that I top the leaderboard or get a high kill count or anything, but interesting games where I might have a nice kill streak going or a good lesson learned!
This was a kill confirmed match on Carbon played on the XBOX 360.
Retro Gaming: Donkey Kong Country Awesomeness!
Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo and probably one of my most favourite games on the Super Nintendo ever made.
A side-scrolling platformer video game developed by Rare featuring the character Donkey Kong, it was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994. Following an intense marketing campaign, the original SNES version sold over 8 million copies worldwide, making it the second best-selling SNES game behind Super Mario World (which sold over 20 million copies…pretty large gap!).
I Managed to get my hands on a copy of the game on eBay for $15 so a pretty good deal. I’m really having fun finding the old games I used to love playing as a kid, brings back great memories!
Torchlight 2 – Release Delayed Q3 2011
Torchlight 2 was due to be released in July this year but has been delayed for a Q3 release. Still, not very long to wait. New LAN and online multiplayer has been added to the game which will surely be a very popular inclusion. The original Torchlight was an amazing game, scoring an average review of 90% and a great Diablo alternative (or if you can’t wait for Diablo 3 to come out!). Can’t wait for this one, makes me wanna hop back into Torchlight 1 for now :).
