Some gameplay of Blacklight Retribution, I joined the game half way through it seems but fun to be had regardless!
A real-time strategy game running on frostbite 2 engine…awesome.
RPG gurus BioWare are bringing their talents to the real-time strategy realm with the help of DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine and the popular Command & Conquer franchise. The trailer for this PC exclusive may be short but it offers a tantalizing glimpse at what’s in store!

Take a look at the first few moments of Blizzard’s third installment of the epic Diablo series, first shown at the Spike Video Game Awards 2011. As always, I’ll post any new Diablo 3 news as it’s made available.
Looks like things are getting a little closer to the release of Diablo 3. They’ve started a closed beta among employees based on the recent thread on the Blizzard forums. I wonder who you have to kill to get your hands on the beta client?
FYI, we’re getting very close to starting the closed public beta test for Diablo III. You might start seeing some new reports about the beta client as we’ve begun limited external testing with employees and their families, and there is no non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for that. We look forward to sharing more info about the beta test in the near future. Stay tuned.
If you have a beta license, you are free to show, share, or talk about any portion of the beta content to which you have access, as this beta test is not confidential.
Torchlight 2 was due to be released in July this year but has been delayed for a Q3 release. Still, not very long to wait. New LAN and online multiplayer has been added to the game which will surely be a very popular inclusion. The original Torchlight was an amazing game, scoring an average review of 90% and a great Diablo alternative (or if you can’t wait for Diablo 3 to come out!). Can’t wait for this one, makes me wanna hop back into Torchlight 1 for now :).
OK, been a few months since I last played any StarCraft 2 and here we are with Season 3. Didn’t even realize season 3 had already started but in case you aren’t aware, with each new season comes a new placement match to get re-ranked in a league/division. My season 3 placement match, a TvZ played out very slowly, still managed to pull off a win to start the season though. Still lots to learn, and still need to practice using more hotkeys. Last season when I was playing a bit more I was getting better using them, but now as it’s been a while I’ve gone back to my old ways…very very slow.
Path of Exile – A Diablo clone using much of the same formula as Blizzard’s epic series. Is it too much of a rip off to be any fun or will this gorgeous action RPG tide us over until Diablo 3 releases next year? Yep, I think so!
Should be released a little later this year. Fingers crossed this one actually comes out a little sooner rather than later.
I like to find new games I’ve never played before that I may have overlooked previously. I might already own these games in some fashion but completely missed them at the time. Half Life 2: Lost Coast falls into this category. Although LC is not strictly a game, it was a tech demo created by valve to show off their HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology in the source engine.
Playing my first Payload match on TF2. Wasn’t a complete game, came in half way through but gave me an idea about the payload game type and had some fun along the way.
Playing some Team Fortress 2 and learning all about each class. Taking a look at the Engineer class now and finding out what this class is all about!
