Taking my first look at Tribes Ascend for the PC. Recently build a new computer so I now get to play through all these new games I’ve missed out on the past 6 months or so! My upload speed on my internet connection is killing me at the moment so I don’t know how long it will be before I really get frustrated with it, but for now I’ll keep doing videos as long as I enjoy making them and can tolerate my internet connection!
My first play through of Tribes Ascend and learning to Ski all over again. I was a huge fan of Tribes 2 back in the day, but learning to ski is just like riding a bike. You never really seem to forget! I’ve played a few games since I recorded this and I must say by skiing has gotten a lot better since this! Having lots of fun playing Tribes again though.
Ever wanted to know how to survive a zombie apocalypse? IGN’s Naomi Kyle will show you how. If you’ve never caught an episode of ‘Cheap, Cool Crazy’ where have you been hiding? The show sources fun stuff online you can have on the cheap, that may just be cool or crazy!
Back with another call of duty modern warfare 3 gameplay w/ commentary. For a change here’s a team deathmatch on the map Bakara. Finished 27-7 on this map, pretty good but still room for improvement.
A modern warfare 3 demolition match on underground. Finished the game with 27-7 which isn’t too bad for me. Highest K/D ratio on the team which was nice and just 1 kill off topping the match scoring. Still a decent game for me.
Rather than running around like an idiot which always gets me killed, I decided to hang back and get into better positions to defend objectives and catch enemy players running into objectives for easier kills while trying to give myself better protection. I’m learning the more games I play that watching your own back is much more important than trying to rack up kills as quickly as possible. Being successful at one will make me better at the other.
A demolition match on bootleg, pretty fun map. Started using the bouncing betty mines, pretty cool. They work very similar to the claymore’s but can be placed a little quicker.
Still using the Type 95 assault rifle, getting better with it. I don’t top the team leaderboard in this game but do manage to get the best team K/D ratio which was nice. Also had a few nice kills, we ended up winning this match also.
Still learning the Type 95 assault rifle on a kill confirmed match on the Fallen map. I also talk about the desktop microphone I use for my recordings. I use the BlueMic Yeti USB desktop microphone http://www.bluemic.com/yeti/
It’s an amazing mic and as it’s USB it’s fully digital audio you record to rather than converting analog to digital and needing extra hardware. You also don’t get any static or interference with a digital mic which is another plus. I actually talked about the mic when I first got it back in April if you’re interested in a great quality desktop microphone for all purpose recording.
I’m not a good call of duty player, but I just like making videos and posting them on the internet for fun. More of a learning tool for me to record and post my games and see where I go wrong and what I can improve on. I don’t post games that I top the leaderboard or get a high kill count or anything, but interesting games where I might have a nice kill streak going or a good lesson learned!
This was a kill confirmed match on Carbon played on the XBOX 360.
