It has been quite a while since my last video so I apologize and figured I’d do a quick video to get back into the swing of things.
A new StarCraft 2 Heart of the Swarm gameplay video of a ladder match I played a few weeks ago. I am in silver league so don’t expect pro strategy here but a good learning experience for me.
I went down to my local thrift store (Salvation Army) today and picked up a couple of nice additions to my Playstation 2 collection, as well as a really nice find way hidden in the back.
A special edition box set Star Wars trilogy release from 1997! This box set contains digitally remastered versions of the original star wars films and was released in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the first film. While I don’t watch VHS tapes anymore (DVD and blu-ray) having this in the collection is really nice. For a pick-up of only $1 I couldn’t say no. I was casually looking through some of their VHS tapes and noticed this gold box with a black lucasfilm logo on it…as soon as I saw the logo I knew it would be something worth checking out and sure enough, a star wars box set.
This box set is 15 years old today, and very collectible so quite nice to have.
I was playing a round of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive last night and found myself in a lobby discussing tree planting, eggs and many other things totally unrelated to the game itself!
Some gameplay of Blacklight Retribution, I joined the game half way through it seems but fun to be had regardless!
A new StarCraft 2 gameplay video of a ladder match I played a few days ago. The last few games I’ve played I’ve lost with trying to harass early with cloaked Banshee’s…didn’t work out so well so figured I’d change it up a little and go with a more macro oriented game and try a 1x rax fast expand. Worked out pretty well.
Last year I did a video series “Learning from Bronze” for SC2, shortly after I got rid of my PC in an effort to build a new one. 12 months later I finally get around to it and now that I’ve got a new PC I’m back on SC2.
There are a few videos online helping Bronze league-rs improve their skills and get better but if you really need help not too many of them hold your hand teaching core mechanics, etc. I figure from the perspective of a fellow Bronze league player my gameplay may help others struggling with this game.
Got some more Tribes Ascend gameplay here messing around with the Juggernaught class. It’s a pretty fun class, a lot different than the lightweight pathfinder class I’m used to but raiding enemy generators and taking people head-on in tight spaces is great fun.
A capture the flag match on drydock. This is the first time playing this map, it feels much smaller than the other maps in the game but its fast paced and nice and open which makes for some good (quick) CTF!
